Crème brûlée quick and easy


300 grams double cream

4 yolks
85 grams sugar
1 vanilla bean or vanilla extract
brown sugar


Preheat oven at 180°C.
Heat the cream until just about to boil.
Beat the yolks with the sugar and vanilla until the cream become soft and white.
Pour the cream into the double crea ( over the medium heat) and wait until the double cream it start to boiling. Now its time to quickly whisk until the mixture start thicken.
Fill the oven pan single serving and bake for 30 minutes.
Allow to cool and at time to serve, dust the top of the cream with the brown sugar and use a blowtorch to caramelise the sugar.
If you don't have a blowtorch, you can use the grill of the oven until the cream is caramelised.
