Hummus my way


500 grams canned chickpeas, drained, liquid reserved

1/2 garlic clove
1 tablespoon tahina (or if you don't have it 1 tablespoon peanut butter, if you like)
freshly squeezed lemon juice  (1 lemon)
about 2 tablespoons liquid from chickpeas
2 teaspoons cumin
olive oil
sale and pepper


In a pan over a medium heat, heat oil with garlic. Add chickpeas and cumin and let cook for about 2-3 minutes..
Pour the chickpeas in a food processor, fitted with the steel blade, living the garlic if you like.
Add the lemon juice, the tahina or the peanut butter and process untilit's everything minced.
Seasoning with salt and pepper and turn the food processor on for about 30 second, adding the chickpeas water if needed. 
Pour hummus in a glass jar and keep in the refrigeratoor until serve.
After you use puor on the top of the hummus a bit of olive oil.
