1-1/2 cups all-purpose-flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup light-brown-sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
Combine flour, baking soda and salt, in a medium bowl amd set aside.
In a electric mixer bowl combine, with paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar, at medium speed, until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat until well combined. Add peanut butter and mix well until combined.
Add the flour mixture all at once and beat on low speed until well combined. Now add by hand the chocolate chips.
Wrap dough in a foil of plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Remove dough from refrigerator, scoop a small ammount of dough nd place it on a baking sheet (about 2 inches apart).
Bake until cookies are golden, about 15 to 18 minutes.
Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.
